Many thanks to everyone who helped share our social media posts on Rare Disease Day on Monday 28 February 2022 and helped us to spread greater awareness and understanding of Behçet’s.
A special thank you to Behçet’s UK member Cat and her friend Lilli who recorded this beautiful and moving song entitled “We are Light”, as a tribute to all affected by rare diseases around the world.
Thank you also to Savannah who wrote a brilliant article about her experiences of living with Behçet’s for Medical News Today.
Finally, many thanks to our Trustee Rachael who took over the Rare Disease UK stories for one hour on the day to share videos sharing her Behçet’s story. Rachael also recorded this fantastic video for Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.
