Email your MP to keep prescriptions free for the over 60s

The UK Government is consulting on plans to push back the age people no longer have to pay for their prescriptions from 60 to 66. They want to align the charge with the State Pension Age. England is the only country in the UK that charges people for vital medicine to stay well.

We know the NHS is under strain, but we fear that making people pay for their medicines could put it under even greater strain.

If you would like to express your concern about this proposal which will affect thousands of patients and people with long-term conditions like Behçet’s, we encourage you to follow the advice from Parkinson’s UK and write to your MP using this form
