Behçet’s to the Beach may be over but there are still plenty of other ways you can donate to Behçet’s UK, some of which cost no extra to you!
As a small charity with no government funding, we rely on donations, fundraising and membership subscriptions to provide our services, so we really appreciate any help you can give us.
Give As You Live
Do you regularly shop online from Argos, The Entertainer, Etsy, Not on the High Street, Boots, John Lewis, eBay, Halfords or other big brands? If you’re a frequent online shopper or perhaps are getting ahead with your Christmas shopping, buy from your favourite websites through Give as You Live and they will generate commission which is turned into donations for charities like us. It costs no extra to you and really helps us!
It’s easy to register and download their reminder tab for Google Chrome, so every time you shop online through your browser, you get a reminder to make sure Give as you Live is switched on. Sign up today.
They also have an app available for iPad, iPhone and Android.
We’re also registered with Easy Fundraising and The Giving Machine which work similarly. More details at behcetsuk.org/donate-as-you-shop-online/ If you’re unsure which one to use, we recommend Give as You Live as we receive donations most frequently though them.
Amazon Smile
When you shop through the Amazon Smile link, you can donate 0.5% of the net purchase price of eligible items to us! Amazon Smile has all the same products on as Amazon and it costs nothing extra to you to use it!
It also works through the Amazon Shopping app if you have an Apple or Android phone, but not on iPads or other tablet devices.

Become a member
Benefits of Behçet’s UK membership include a patient alert card, access to our Facebook peer groups and quarterly newsletters. It’s £20 a year for an adult, or free if you’re aged 18-24, or if you are in receipt of means-tested state benefits in the UK. Those aged under 18 can also join for free as Junior members.
