The Government’s Neighbourhood Health programme aims to move care closer to home, improve care coordination and make services easier for people to navigate. For people affected by neurological conditions including Behçet’s, this could make a significant difference. Yet too often, people experience these services as fragmented, reactive and difficult to access.
That’s why we’re backing The Neurological Alliance’s Vision for Neighbourhood Health. This report sets out why neurological conditions must explicitly be included in the neighbourhood Health programme and an achievable model of coordinated specialist care closer to home for people affected by neurological conditions. Now we’re calling for action from government to make that happen. Learn more here: www.neural.org.uk/visionforneuro
