Researchers are looking for volunteers to take part in a trial investigating the effect of Pilates and Tai Chi online group classes on fatigue for people with rheumatological diseases.
The trial is being organised by the University of East Anglia in collaboration with the University of Cambridge and King’s College Clinical Trials Unit. This trial is funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR).
Many people with rheumatological diseases, such as Behçet’s, experience severe fatigue and other symptoms which can make participating in everyday life very difficult. Researchers are looking at whether Pilates or Tai Chi online group classes can reduce fatigue and improve quality of life.
For more information please have a look at the participant information sheet.
If you would like to take part, please complete their online eligibility screening questionnaire.
