Bake for Behçet’s: There are lots of ways!
You don’t need to be an expert baker to host a Bake for Behçet’s fundraiser our handy guide will help you plan your fundraiser from a small driveway or office bake sale to a large coffee morning at the local sports club. Any sized event will raise awareness of Behçet’s and any amount of money raised will be whole-heartedly appreciated and make a difference.
Bake for Behçet’s is running throughout 2023 so you pick a date for your event that suits you. You could plan it for a celebration such as a family birthday, Valentine’s day, or Halloween or join an existing community event such as a community fete, or a sports day.

BIRTHDAY CAKES
Do your friends or work colleagues buy cakes for birthdays? Suggest homemade bakes with donations to Bake for Behçet’s instead.
AFTERNOON TEA
Host an afternoon tea for your closest friends and family and suggest that they donate what they would have spent eating out to your Bake for Behçet’s fundraiser.
COFFEE MORNING
Host a community coffee morning or just with friends and family with drinks cakes for sale for donations.
HONEST BAKES
Do you live in an area popular with tourists or walkers? Create a bake shelter with an honesty box outside your property where hungry walkers and tourists can boost their energy levels with your bakes in return for donations.
BAKE SALE
Whether a small bake sale on your driveway or at school a traditional bake sale if well advertised is always popular.
BAKE-OFF
Add a competitive edge to Bake for Behçet’s by holding a competition for the tastiest cookie or the most elaborate cake. Once judging is over all entries are available to buy at the bake sale.
Fundraising goals
We are grateful for every pound and penny raised so everyone who raises money for Behçet’s UK will receive an official 40 Years certificate to acknowledge and thank you for your achievement.
We do have fundraising incentives too, if you:
- commit to raising £200* and you will receive a Behçet’s event t-shirt when your JustGiving total reaches £50
- raise £50* and over and we will send you an event medal to say thank you.
*Fundraising targets exclude Gift Aid
