Judith Buckle Award 2018

Awarded to Julie Collier

Vice chair, Richard West, presented the Judith Buckle Award to Julie Collier at the 2018 AGM & Conference in Bristol.

Julie had stood down as Society’s Administrator earlier in the year to work with her husband Andy on their yacht Ria. Richard quoted some of the things the Trustees had said about Julie, including that she had made an enormous difference to the Society and went well beyond the remit of her job.

Accepting the award, Julie said that she was passionate about connecting people and that she loved talking to people and helping them.
